The story matures

While the wonderful Welsh Whisky is maturing in its oak casks, the Welsh Whisky Company has been forging ahead with other unique products.

The Spirit of Wales range consists of three drinks, each using traditional botanics plus a secret botanic that is essentially Welsh and which sets the range apart from the competition.

There is a gin called Brecon Special Series Dry, a vodka called Brecon Premium and a cream liqueur called Merlyn which is the only cream liqueur on the market using malt rather than grain whiskey.
The drinks will be promoted shortly at the Food and Spirit Fair, Llandudno and the International Food Exhibition in Greenwich, There is also a launch by the Welsh Development Agency at the Cardiff International Arena.
Meanwhile, in oak casks, the Welsh Whisky is slowly maturing...........
and the Special Series Brecon Dry Gin is preparing to challenge the best London Dry.

The Welsh Whisky Company is not yet open to the public, nor are their products yet available in retailers. Like me, you will just have to wait, but having sampled the immature whiskey I can assure you the wait will be worthwhile.
