Alun
Evans has been landlord and director of The glancynon Inn at Hirwaun since 1971.
In the intervening years he has built a first class reputation for not just quality, service and value but also for the warm welcome and friendliness that all of his customers have now come to expect as normal.
The building is well appointed throughout and boasts a comfortable lounge, a large bar ,a beer cellar which is available for private functions and a first class restaurant which is situated on the first floor.

Glancynon serves a large variety of snacks and meals from sandwiches and basket
meals through to three course and Sunday lunches, with a different Chef's Special
on offer every day.
There is a selection of around twelve different beers and lagers, three of which are traditional ales, and every week they have a guest ale so that the regulars can sample many various traditional ales in the course of the year. The Glancynon also boasts a complete wine cellar. So whatever your tastes, you can be certain to enjoy your visit to The Glancynon.

bar is spacious and has all of the entertainment and sports facilities that you

They have a ladies darts team and a men's pool team that compete in the local leagues, and Alun is always on the look out for new players to take part in the league competitions.
